Through our own projects as well as qualified lobbying in the public arena, commerce and politics, we lend a voice to the WWF objectives in Germany. In order to strengthen our conservation department, starting at the earliest possible time and with full-time employment, limited until 31.08.2022 we are looking for individuals qualified for the position of:

Project Manager Central Africa (m/f/d)

This requires among others the following skills: Management and implementation of conservation projects at international level in the programme region, as well as at WWF Germany  Ensuring compliance with donor regulations and Guidelines Control and monitoring of the project Budget Strategic development of party new solutions and analysis of the above-mentioned are of work, as well as development of solutions to achieve WWF's goals Close collaboration with public donors, institutions, NGO's, etc. Team work on aspects of communication and fundraising

You identify with the objectives of WWF and have the following credentials/qualifications:
  • MSc in field related to job description
  • Several years (2 to 3 years) of work experience in a comparable field of work and experience with international projects
  • Sound experience with complex project management, preferably with international context and/or in a developing country
  • command of the German and English language a plus, very good command of the French language are requiered
  • Sound experience with international cooperation, contract management and budgeting
  • Knowledge of development and conservation work in Africa, especially in the Congo Basin desirable
  • Knowledge of compliance with and implementation of enviromental and social standards and safeguards as well as of human rights due diligence desirable
